હવે તો પસાર થઈ જ જશે જીએસટી વિધેયક સંસદમાં

નાણાપ્રધાન અરૂણ જેટલીએ આશા વ્યક્ત કરી  છે કે સંસદના આગામી બજેટ સત્રમાં જીએસટી બિલ પાસ થઈ જશે.. કારણ કે જીએસટીની તરફેણ કરનારા સાંસદોમાં વધારો થઈ રહ્યો છે. સંસદના સતત બે સત્રમાં કોંગ્રેસના વિરોધને કારણે રાજ્યસભામાં જીએસટી બિલ પસાર થઈ શક્યુ નથી. જેટલીએ કહ્યું છે કે સંસદનું આગામી સત્ર ખુબ જ મહત્વપૂર્ણ બની રહેશે. આગામી સત્રના મધ્ય સુધી રાજ્યસભામાં સભ્યોની સંખ્યાનું ગણિત બદલાશે. જ્યા સુધી આગામી સત્રની વાત છે ત્યાં સુધી મને ખુબ જ મોટી આશા છે કે જીએસટી બિલ પસાર કરાવવામાં સફળતા મળશે. સંસદનું બજેટ સત્ર ફેબ્રુઆરીના આખરી સપ્તાહમાં શરૂ થશે. નેશનલ એકડેમી ઓફ કસ્ટમ, એક્સાઈઝ એન્ડ નાર્કોટિસના અધિકારીઓને સંબોધતા જણાવતાં કહ્યું હતું કે રાજનૈતિક પક્ષોમાં મોટાભાગે સર્વસમંતિ સંધાઈ ગઈ છે. બધા જે તેનું સમર્થન કરે છે. જીએસટીનો અમલ થતાની સાથે અપ્રત્યક્ષ ક્ષેત્રમાં તમામ ટેક્સનો તેમાં સમાવેશ થઈ જશે. આ જીએસટી બિલ રાજ્યસભામાં અટક્યું છે. પણ મુખ્ય વિપક્ષ કોંગ્રેસના વિરોધને કારણે બિલ પાસ થઈ શક્યું નથી.
